Taylored Trunk

So I wanted to show you my most recent piece! I absolutely love the way this trunk turned out!

Lately I’ve been noticing a trend.
People have been contacting me lately about refinishing their furniture pieces . . . that aren’t really that old!

The pieces are usually SOLID Wood, very chunky looking. Think of Razmataz, Pottery Barn
(or Potato barn if your from the Phx Area). Most of these chunky wood furniture pieces (maybe 5-10 years old)
have a very Rustic and maybe even a little Tuscan side to them.

Since Restoration Hardware seems to be a very popular trend now. . .
that is the look most people are going for when transforming these pieces!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THAT STORE . . .
so I have noooo problem painting furniture to resemble those items!!

This one has a little more of a shabby chic finish . . .

Some of the panels had a blue (chalky look) “wax-ey” type finish on it?
Never had really encountered that before. . . Nothing a sander couldn’t handle!
