I know that in my last post with the shiplap wall . . .
I promised to reveal the living room right away.
Unfortunately, I had a little accident that put me in the hospital for a week! 🙁
I’ll explain more on the next post about what happened!
So needless to say . . . I’m a tad bit behind on posting. 🙁
I am however, doing much better now! I’m healing and eager to get back to work!
So during this healing process I figured I’d catch up on all my posts that I promised.
I intend on getting all caught up this HOT month of July.
Trust me you’re going to want to stay tuned because I have tons of remodels to share!!
So first things first! You remember the previous post with the shiplap wall??
Well . . . now let’s see the whole room re-done!
We went from warm to cool colors by changing out curtains, area rug and coffee table!
I added some small furniture accent pieces here and there . . .
I also tried to simplify the entry area to the bedroom to avoid congestion.
Her teal chair accented this wall perfectly next to the shiplap wall!
(notice how all the furniture is pushed back onto one side of the room)
She kept her couch, but with new accent pillows and decor . . .
Wow what a difference!
Notice how pulling the couch away from the wall helps balance out the room more.
It also shows off the beautiful floor to ceiling curtains on the back wall.
Now there’s a walkway to the outdoor patio,
and no more giant wasted space in the center of the room! 🙂
Now lets peek at another angle
and work our way to the newly decorated kitchen and dining area!
Now for the before & afters of dining room!
New everything! Curtains, area rug, dining table, wall decor . . . etc!
Isn’t this chandelier from World Market Stunning!?!
One more BEFORE & AFTER shot!
Sooooo??? What do you think???
I love it . . . and most importantly the client LOVED it too!!
YAY! Another happy ending!
