Pamela Blue Nightstand

Wow!! It’s 2013 already?? I have a ton of refinished furniture pieces to share with you!! So while I’m working on current projects.. I wanted to share with you a another Past project ! This was my first ASCP (Annie Sloan Chalk Paint) project!! I was extremely intimated breaking out of my comfort zone with the usual… sand, prime, paint, glaze, poly… You know the drill…

Anyway.. I had been eyeballing this paint for a LONG time!! .. Apparently this line of paint has the reputation of NO SAND, NO PRIME… just PAINT and finish with wax… HA! Well … I’ll be the judge of that!!! I finally buckled down and decided to call a dealer in Cali to send me a shipment!! As I was searching the retailers… low & behold!!! There was a place in AZ that had just started selling this sought after paint!!! Green Table Gifts . . . Which happened to be right down the street from my house!! I called the owner… talked her ear off for about 30 minutes… and told her I was on my way!!

I purchased Duck Egg Blue (and a few others..) and already knew the nightstand I had at home was screaming for this color!
Turns out… the Rumours were True!! Paint… and Wax… and thats it!! Even though I struggled a bit with the dark wax … I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this paint! Super easy to use and perfect for those cool vintage pieces you cant bear to get rid of!!

My sweet Zumba friend handed this beauty over my way… She’s not for sale.. since she’s perfect in my living room… here’s my Pamela Blue….  (sorry my pics aren’t the greatest)
