Olgui Hollywood China Cabinet

ITS BEEN SOOOO LONG my friends! Have you missed me?! Well I’ve Missed YOU!

In my blogging absence I’ve been tackling ALOT of projects! Most recently this china cabinet for my sister…

My hubs & I  recently helped her and her hubs remodel their long overdue outdated kitchen! WAIT UNTIL YOU SEE THE BEFORE & AFTERS on that project! All I can say is WOW!

Anyway, I was happy to be a part of it! Soooo, to start I thought I’d give you a little teaser by showing you the refinished china hutch that went in her remodeled kitchen/dining room!

Whipped up some chalk paint and went to town. Realized the 1st shade of blue we picked just wasn’t quite right! So back to Home Depot to pick another color!

Applied the new color as the 2nd coat and IT WAS PERFECT!! YAY!

Here the stencil is started! Hollywood  Squares from Royal Design Studio

After a coat of some Minwax Provincial Stain, we put her away in her spot!
Decided not to use the upper china doors since it conflicted with space..
Still need the hardware attached!

Ahhhh…. Look how pretty with new vintage hardware!

Some gold gilding detail added to the decal..

Of course, this piece wouldn’t be right without pretty glasses and some white China!
