Barcelona Orange Armoire

Been dying to share my latest BOLD piece with you all!! Another ASCP project! Remember awhile back I got rid of my black shabby chic armoire that was in my Art Room? The one that held all my paint supplies & tools? Well this was the piece that replaced her!! THIS THING IS HEAVY!! They don’t make solid wood pieces like they used to!!

Since I was re-doing the art room, I needed a bold piece in there! So yes, I went with ORANGE!! I found some adorable fabric for new curtains!  Hope this inspires YOU to have a bold piece of furniture in your home!

Stay tuned tomorrow to see the re-done Art Room…with this fabulous orange armoire!

Haha!!! Obviously I couldn’t wait to get my tools in,

since I had sold the other piece faster than I could get this one refinished!!

1st coat of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, Barcelona Orange

I didn’t paint all the way through to leave some dark areas in the design visible.

ALL DONE! What do you think???

Dark Wax finish throughout to highlight the intricate design.

Super cute fabric with a little splash of orange… perfect for decorative curtains!!

LOOK at this AMAZING hardware!!! My favorite part of this piece!!

RECAP… Do YOU love it???
